The cheerful green door at The Very Idea's cozy cottage located at 819 Airport Road South, Jasper, Alabama holds the inviting aroma of coffee, fresh baked cookies, cupcakes, scented candles and the sincere warm welcome of owners Carla Kimbrell and Joan Thornton. The Very Idea is an upscale boutique that has kept its hometown feel since it's beginning in 1994. Carla and Joan have seen many changes in the gift and apparel industry over all those years but the one constant that has remained are the wonderful relationships and friendships they have made with their customers. To them, these are their biggest blessings!
